MOVIN, the logistics brand formed through a joint venture between InterGlobe Enterprises and UPS, has announced its entry into the healthcare logistics space with the launch of MOVIN Healthcare. This new vertical focuses on the specialised needs of India’s pharmaceutical, MedTech, diagnostics, and laboratory sectors, marking a significant step into a fast-growing market.
India’s healthcare express logistics segment, valued at USD 5.5-7.5 billion, is expanding quickly as demand rises for dependable, time-sensitive delivery of essential medical supplies. MOVIN Healthcare aims to address this demand with end-to-end temperature-controlled solutions designed to maintain Refrigerated (2-8°C), Ambient Controlled (15-25°C), and Dry Ice Frozen (-80 to -20°C) conditions for vaccines, medicines, and clinical trial materials.
Shipments will be handled with secure processes and real-time monitoring through a 24×7 control tower. The vertical will offer priority handling for all healthcare consignments, backed by comprehensive carrier insurance for added protection.
Its flagship Next Flight Out (NFO) service is built for urgent medical shipments, setting a new benchmark for speed, reliability, and service quality. MOVIN plans to embed this standard throughout the delivery chain, supported by trained teams dedicated to maintaining strict handling integrity.
Speaking about the launch, Grégory Goba-Blé, Director of MOVIN Express and Head of UPS India, said, “It is not a package; it’s a patient for us. MOVIN’s entry into healthcare logistics reflects our commitment to strengthening India’s critical healthcare logistics segment. By combining UPS’s global logistics expertise with InterGlobe’s deep market understanding, we have built a specialised vertical designed to meet the stringent compliance requirements and temperature-control challenges unique to India. MOVIN’s agile network, strategic investments, skilled workforce, and advanced monitoring technologies reinforce our long-term vision to become the most trusted logistics partner for India’s fast-growing healthcare ecosystem.”
MOVIN Healthcare will operate as an independent vertical powered by specialised resources and a trained support team dedicated to healthcare clients. Its core strengths include managing time-critical shipments and deploying advanced packaging for temperature-sensitive products. The first phase will cover 50 key markets, followed by a nationwide rollout.
The company’s Quality Assurance framework incorporates strict safety protocols, supported by proactive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and transparent incident reporting to enhance accountability across the supply chain.
With this launch, MOVIN Healthcare aims to strengthen the timely movement of critical medical supplies across the country, helping healthcare providers deliver faster, more reliable care to patients.
